With almost 15 years of experience, Dr. Shahnaz Karim, has been practicing medicine in the areas of physical and occupational therapy, Musculoskeletal and Opioid use disorder successfully in Houston, Texas. From a family of medical professionals, Dr. Karim has been committed to helping those with medical needs through various outreach and educational programs.

Along with her extensive background in the field of medicine, Dr. Karim works with an excellent team at One Stop Medical Care in Houston’s Medical Center.

For your convenience, we have lab and x-ray facilities, a fully-fledged pharmacy, and access to multiple primary care physicians within Main Medical Plaza in addition to being centrally located in Houston by the Texas Medical Center and Reliant Stadium.

We accept self pay patients, as well as,  all insurance managed care (with referral), HMO’s, MediCare, and MediCaid. Please remember, HMO and some PPO patients need prior referral from their PCP.

Qualifications of Our Physicians

Dr. Shahnaz A. Karim graduated from Sindh Medical College, Karachi Pakistan in 1983.
She did her post graduate training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston in 1999.  For next 10 years she served as a consultant and admitting physician at the Houston Methodist Hospital, St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital and the Park Plaza Hospital, Houston.
In 2000 she started her own private practice and in 2005 moved to the Main Medical Plaza.
She is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and a  Fellow of the American College of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
